BuPay was born from the stress of collecting group payments in Japan: chasing cash, maintaining spreadsheets, awkward conversations about money. So I decided to build the tool I wished I had.
Before BuPay, I built TeamPay, a team-payments app in Australia. I solved exactly this problem there, and that experience now goes into clubs and teams in Japan.
