  • Communications: Email address for waitlist, notifications, and LINE account information for payment notifications
  • Financial Data: Transaction history, invoices, and payment records necessary for team management

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, device information, and operating system
  • Usage Data: How you interact with our platform, pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform

4.1 Clerk (Authentication)

4.2 Stripe (Payment Processing)

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Stripe processes payment card information, PayPay transactions, and bank account details. We never store complete payment card details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at here.

4.3 LINE Integration

If you choose to connect your LINE account for payment notifications, we will receive your LINE user ID to enable this functionality. This is optional and can be disconnected at any time.

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data:

  • All data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • We use PostgreSQL databases with regular backups and security updates
  • Payment data is processed through Stripe's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure

While we implement robust security measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

  • Active Accounts: We retain your data while your account is active
  • Financial Records: Transaction and invoice data is retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations
  • Deleted Accounts: When you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except for financial records required by law

BuPay never sells, rents, or trades your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

BuPay is designed for teams and organizations that include minors (such as youth sports teams). Parent or guardian accounts can manage profiles for their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside of your residence, including the United States, where our servers and third-party service providers are located. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
