How invoices work

An invoice bundles a member's charges together so they can be paid in one go. It's the thing members actually pay, charges define what's owed, and the invoice collects it.

  • Charges are bundled at checkout

When a member checks out, their pending charges are grouped into a single invoice.

  • Fees are itemised

The invoice adds the platform fee and Stripe processing fee, shown clearly alongside the charges.

    How platform fees work
  • Bundling saves on fees

Part of the fee is fixed per payment, so bundling several charges into one invoice keeps the total fees lower, pay multiple charges together where you can.

  • Status is tracked end to end

An invoice moves from 'invoiced' to 'paid' once the payment confirms, and the charges inside it are marked paid with it.
