School-Club Transfer

Taking over school club activities?First-time fee collection, made simple

Community clubs now handle fee collection, unpaid tracking, and financial reporting. BuPay takes on that admin work.

With the community transfer, fee collection became your job

From fiscal 2026, Japan's school-club reform enters its implementation period, and junior-high club activities are moving to community clubs, NPOs, and private operators. Collecting membership and participation fees under the beneficiary-pays principle is now your group's job.

BuPay is a payment platform for sports groups. Payment requests reach parents by the BuPay app, email or LINE, and they pay with PayPay or a credit card. Records and financial reports are automatic, and with no monthly fees you pay only per transaction.

Sound familiar for your community club?

First-time fee collection

School clubs never collected fees. Now setting, announcing, collecting, and recording them all land on your plate.

No dedicated admin staff

Coaches and volunteer parents wrestle with cash and bank statements between practices.

Tracking and chasing unpaid fees

Reconciling dozens of households by hand, with no clear view of who hasn't paid.

Financial transparency requirements

Reporting finances to parents and the municipality is mandatory. Notebooks and Excel only go so far.

BuPay handles collection and reporting together

Automatic payment requests

Issue a fee and parents get a request automatically, by the BuPay app, email or LINE.

PayPay, card, and konbini payments

Parents choose PayPay, credit card, konbini, or bank transfer. No cash to handle.

Zero monthly fees or minimums

No subscription, no minimums, just a per-transaction fee.

Spot collection for trials and tournaments

Collect trial and tournament fees with a QR payment link. No sign-up for participants.

Visible unpaid status, automatic reminders

Payment status is listed in real time, and unpaid parents get automatic reminders.

One-click financial reports

Export reports for municipal and parent reporting. Your data is stored in Japan.

* Direct debit is not supported (bank transfer is). A small per-transaction fee is added on top of the charge amount (see the pricing page). Authentication runs on Clerk, a US provider, so sign-in credentials are processed outside Japan; all other payment, profile, and financial data stays in Japan.
