How clubs work

A club sits between the organisation and its teams. It groups teams and is where you set how you collect, membership plans and the entry fee. Every team belongs to a club. Sports insurance is set for the organisation, not per club.

  • The middle layer

One club per natural grouping of teams (a competition, age group or division) works well.

  • Set up in one wizard

Organisation admins create clubs; the first one is made in the Club and team part of setup. The wizard covers how you collect, fee sharing, the entry fee and plans, game charges (an amount per event type) and options in turn, and creates everything in one go on the final Review step. Leave part way and no club is created. A name already used by another club in the organisation can't be reused.

    Creating a club
  • Fees on the club, insurance on the organisation

The entry fee and membership plans are set on the club and apply to its teams. Sports insurance is one organisation setting used by every club and team.

    Club fees
  • Every team is in a club

Teams are created inside a club and always belong to exactly one.

FAQ

Who can create a club?

Organisation admins. Afterwards, invite club admins to run it.

Do I need more than one club?

Not necessarily. A small organisation can run everything in one club. Add clubs when groups of teams need a different collection method or entry fee. Different monthly fees can be handled with a plan's team scope.
