How membership fees work

Entry fee and membership fees

Use either one, or both.

• Entry fee: charged once, when a member joins a team
• Membership fee: renews automatically monthly, every 3 months or yearly

When the entry fee is issued

When a member joins a team, the entry fee is charged together with the first period of their everyone and chosen plans. With no plan to join, the entry fee is charged on its own. A club can collect an entry fee only. Entry fees and plan amounts are at least ¥200.

Shared across the club, or per team

Each club chooses whether a member on several of its teams pays the entry fee and membership fee once or per team.

Age only limits who can join

A plan can have an age range, judged on the join date; plans outside a member's range are greyed out with the reason. Age never changes the price, so to charge different amounts by age, create separate plans with different age ranges.

One full cycle from the join date

The first full period is billed on the join date, and later ones on the same date (the month's last day when it's shorter). Nothing is pro-rated.

Automatic renewal and payment

Members can save a card in the Autopay step of the invite when they join. On each renewal date the next period's charge is billed automatically and paid with the saved card. Without a card, the member gets the usual payment request.
