All guidesThree types
The type is chosen when a plan is created and can't be changed.
- Everyone: every member of the plan's teams is enrolled automatically on joining, at the same amount
- Standard: each member picks one, from those that fit their age, on joining
- Add-on: added to the standard plan, with no cycle of its own, billed together on the standard plan's cycle
Add-ons follow their parent plan
An add-on hangs off the member's standard plan, or an everyone plan if there's no standard plan. It shares the parent's period and billing date, and its price applies per parent billing. It has to be paid together with the parent; one can't be paid without the other.
When the parent changes
Switching the standard plan moves add-ons across to the new one (any that no longer fit the member's age end with the old plan). When the parent is cancelled, its add-ons end with it.
Changes start at the next renewal
A standard plan switch or a new add-on takes effect at the standard plan's next renewal; with no standard plan it starts today. A dropped add-on ends with the current period.
What members can do
From the Payments tab of their web account or "Change plan" in the app, members can switch their standard plan and add or cancel add-ons. Everyone plans can't be dropped, and a standard plan can't be cancelled, only switched to another. To stop the standard and everyone plans, the member leaves the team.
What admins can do
Club and organisation admins can change anything from "Member plans" on the club's Fees tab, including removing a standard plan or waiving an everyone plan. Team managers only enrol members on existing plans and cancel them.
Member plans walkthroughWaiving an everyone plan
When an admin unticks an everyone plan, the member is waived from today and isn't billed again. This period's unbilled charge is voided, and the amount is shown before you save. Invoiced and paid charges stay and are never refunded. The member sees "Waived". Ticking it again clears the waiver and restarts the plan today. A waived plan is also skipped by "Apply to everyone" and on joining.
Apply to everyone
An everyone plan created later doesn't enrol existing members on its own. "Apply to everyone" enrols every member of the plan's teams from today and bills the first period straight away. Members already enrolled, excluded from payments, outside the age range or waived are skipped.
