Fee scope: club-wide or per team

Shared across the club (default)

One entry fee and one membership fee for the whole club. A member who joins another team pays nothing extra.

Per team

Each team charges its own entry fee and membership fee. Joining a second team means paying that team's fees as well.

Example: a member on two teams

In a club with a ¥5,000 entry fee and ¥3,000/month:

• Shared across the club: ¥5,000 entry fee (once) + ¥3,000/month
• Per team: ¥10,000 entry fee + ¥6,000/month (both teams)

Which to choose

If your teams are squads within one organisation (an A and B team, or age groups), choose shared across the club. If each team is a separate class or school that members pay for separately, choose per team.

Where to set it

In the "Fee sharing" step of the club wizard, or at the top of the club's Fees tab, where your choice saves as soon as you click.

Locked once anyone is charged

As soon as there's a live membership or an issued entry fee (including a waived one), the setting locks and shows "Members have already been charged, so this can no longer be changed." Decide before you create plans.

Members moving teams (shared across the club)

A shared membership belongs to the club, not the team.

• If a member leaves the team that bills them but is still on another team in the club that the plan applies to, the membership moves there and carries on, with any unpaid charges
• If the billing team is deleted, it moves to their remaining team the same way
• If the member turns on autopay for another team, the membership moves to that team
• If they're no longer on any team the plan applies to, it's cancelled at the end of the period

Members leaving a team (per team)

That team's membership is cancelled at the end of the period. Memberships on their other teams carry on.

What members see

The invite page's "Fees when you join" includes a line on fee sharing.

• Shared: "The joining fee and membership fees are shared by every team in the club. Anything already covered on another team is not charged again."
• Per team: "Each team in this club charges its own joining fee and membership fees."
• Anything already paid shows as "Already covered via" that team

Not the same as a plan's scope

A plan's Scope step chooses which teams use that plan. Fee scope decides how many times the same member is charged.
