The steps

  1. Create your organization

On the first screen, choose Create an organization, then enter a name and sport. The sport sets the wording on screen and whether games have an opponent. Next, choose whether to collect sports insurance premiums (off by default) and whether the organization or members pay the system fee.

    On a ¥5,000 membership fee

    Organization pays

Deducted from what the organization receives

    Member pays
    ¥5,000
    Organization receives
    ¥4,725

    Members pay

Added on top when the member pays

    Member pays
    ¥5,275
    Organization receives
    ¥5,000

The system fee here is ¥275 (4.5% + ¥50 per payment).

Tip: You can't change the sport later.
Tip: Who pays the system fee can't be changed once the first payment has been made.
  2. Create a club and team

Choose what the first club collects: membership fees, per-game charges or both. If you collect membership fees, set an optional entry fee and your first plan. Finish by creating your first team and event.

    Three types of membership plan
    • Everyone

The same amount for all. Members can't remove it.

      • Annual fee
    • Standard

      Members pick one.

      • Once a week
      • Twice a week
    • Add-on

Only for those who want it. Billed with the everyone or standard plan.

      • Morning practice
      • Pick-up service
  3. Invite members

Share the invite QR or 8-character invite code in your usual group chat. Members join from Join team in the app by entering the code or scanning the QR.

Tip: You can invite members now, but they can't pay until step 4 is complete and BuPay has approved your organization.
  4. Set up payouts

Choose your business type and confirm the money is for the organization. Then complete identity checks and add your bank account on Stripe's screen.

Tip: Teams without legal status register through a representative as Sole proprietor or unincorporated club. No business registration is needed.
Tip: Separately from Stripe registration, BuPay reviews every organization. Members can pay once Stripe registration is complete and BuPay has approved your organization.
