Game types and defaults

Every game has a type, and the club sets defaults per type. Defaults are only filled in when a game is created (when you pick the type on the wizard's "How and what" step); they never change games that already exist.

  • Two groups

The standard types fall into two groups.

    • Games: Official match, Practice match, Cup, Friendly
    • Other: Practice, Lesson, Tournament, Camp, Event
  • Sports without an opponent

Organisations for individual sports or classes can only use the other group. Game-group types can't be created there.

  • Defaults per type

Duration, meet time (minutes before the start), fee (or none), covered plans, whether there's an opponent, attendance and trial sessions. The club's "Defaults by type" in Team defaults override the standard values, and a team's Settings override the club's.

  • Meet time

The meet time must be before the start (0 to 240 minutes before). Members see it in their schedule and notifications.

  • Your own types

Club admins can add types with a name (up to 20 characters), an icon, a colour and a group, and set the duration, fee, meet time, attendance check, Trial OK and covered plans defaults in the same sheet. The group can't change afterwards. Deleting a type that's in use keeps its name on past games.

  • Removing standard types

Remove standard types you don't use and bring them back any time with "Restore standard types". Games already created with them stay as they are.

  • One fee per type

A type's fee is the standard fee for its games (at least ¥200; blank or ¥0 means no fee). There's no team or club default fee. When the club turns off "Managers can change the fee", the fee a manager charges for a game is locked to this amount.

  • Type colours

Every type, standard or your own, has a colour on the calendar. Pick it from a fixed set of colours in "Defaults by type" in the club's Team defaults, or when adding or editing your own type.
