Seasons and season passes aren't set on the team, they live at the league level. The league a team belongs to defines one season period and one season-pass price, and both apply to every team in that league.
Defined on the league
The season period and season-pass price are set once on the league, not separately on each team.
Games still link automatically
Games created within the league's season period link to that season automatically, with a per-game opt-out for ad-hoc games.
Managed from the league
To create or change a season, open the league the team belongs to.
