Organisation setup
The first time you sign in, BuPay starts a short setup wizard. Every team belongs to a league and every league belongs to an organisation, so it creates your organisation, your first league and your first team in a single flow. It takes a minute or two, and logos and descriptions can be changed later.

Choose how you're starting
On your first sign-in, pick "I run a team" on the dashboard to start setting up your organisation. If a manager gave you a six-character invite code, use "I was invited to a team" instead.

The setup wizard opens
Setup runs in three steps: organisation → league → team. The stepper at the top shows where you are, and you can go back at any point.

Name your organisation
Enter a name and, optionally, upload a logo. The organisation is the top-level account that owns your leagues, teams, members and money. Press "Next" when you're done.

Create your first league
Give the league a name and description. Every team belongs to a league — create one per competition, e.g. weekend friendlies or a tournament.

Add your first team
Name the team to add it to the league — you become its manager. Pressing "Create team" creates the organisation, league and team together.

Only payments left
You land back on the dashboard, which shows what's left. Collecting money requires a Stripe connection, so continue with "Set up payments". Teams, games and members work before that's done.
